It's a huge risk to pass the game to a different team, especially depending on what type of deal they can strike up.

I've personally never even heard of that company until that tweet was pointed out on the Terraria forums. I wouldn't have any hope whatsoever for it to be passed to a different team because it's all up to what Red believes is best for his own project. If he wants it to be over with then that's that.
