You have to mash the key for the stop command to work reliably. And you can't do emotes while stopped. What if I wanted to do the bugle call as Koggles when I wait for a teammate to pick up blue? Huh? Huh!?
I dunno how often you guys play auto-attack champs, but you should seriously consider making use of the attack command (default A). It's great for chasing around corners, into bushes, and it's also a great convenience when kiting someone.
