This game looks fantastic. And I love minecraft too. I love specially how it is the same "kind" of game but a different genre at the same time.
What I specially hate is how fortresscraft is coming out to be. This is its creator's twitter. This guy claims his game is better than minecraft.
From what I've seen, it's just placing and removing blocks with fancy tools. Nothing more. And some sort of lame FPS mode, it seems. But with fancy graphics and custom blocks. It's a game that could TOTALLY be different from minecraft, but chose to try to mimic and foreshadow it. Quite sad in my opinion. Specially looking at the responses of the guy in twitter. Want to be a professional? Do what you like to do. Resist to pressure, and try to make it unique. Not a shadow of an existing thing.
