My guess is they noticed a huge drop in activity after the 3x and 2x ended. Really, who wanted to go back to 1x?
Maybe they think they'll sell like hotcakes and bring some players back.
I think what they're hinting is another rollback to come..soon! And as compensation they will give x3...again!
