There's only two reasons why I'll try out Maplestory 2.

There's no real reason -not- to try it out as long as my puny laptop can take it.
As others have voiced though, I'm skeptical as to any 3D game's ability to create the same awe that Maplestory created in me when I first played it.
It's kinda sad, but I love all the pretty pictures in Maplestory.
From what little can be told from the one screenshot we have, MS2 looks to try to keep the feel of the original as far as the environment goes, but I really hope the top-down perspective isn't that pronounced in the final release.
The three playable characters in the screen are hardly distinguishable thanks to that point of view.
Though you should add "...as long as you don't give Nexon your money."
