Seriously though people? So it's Valentine's Day. Whoop-de-fuckin-do. Wallowing in your singleness or forever aloneness is *gasp* why you're there in the first place. Now is that to say you HAVE to find someone today? Heavens no. I'm single myself today, but that doesn't mean I hate the holiday. Sure, people have their personal reasons for disliking it for corporate reasons, etc., but disliking it because you're single is just plain stupid. What are you going to say on the Valentine's Day your aren't single? Hm? I'm a hopeful romantic, a lover a love, and so I'm happy to read about so many people experiencing a wonderful, down-to-earth romantic holiday today.
The only time I understand being pissed at V-Day is if you just recently had your heart broken. I'm sure I wouldn't have said anything I just did if V-Day was in November. But broken hearts heal, and so being upset for that reason every now and then is okay, but in general, please. Don't be a sourpuss.
