If you take too long when he is low HP, he uses Ultimate Grudge, which does 66K damage to the party. I had the misfortune of running into him the first time through Bresha Ruins, and I was doing pretty good considering most of his attacks were single character 1shots even on my SEN...then he used that. dohoho.
