Very similar to what I did for my build.
The HDD you're going to want to look around for since HDD prices will be high through 2012 and into 2013. If you can find a spinpoint f3 though, best non-ssd on the market IMO.
2500k gives you good overclocking headroom, with that same cpu/cooler I'm at 4.5ghz running low 30's idle.
If you don't have an OS you can ask a student friend from a university.
