GMS Server Status Discussion 2012-01

I think it was sort of not well thought out on Nexon's part to release the x3 exp/drop event before they had a handle on what's happening with the servers. I mean, I got all my rings done and I find myself agreeing with the people who have posted so far claiming that it's better, but the lag does spike, a lot. And that better not be Nexon's new normal. . The first two spikes I went through didn't d/c me, although it's awful boring just sitting there for several minutes. The last one did though. And there's some message that pops up occasionally when the lag does spike; something about being overloaded and wanting me to try again later.
