GMS Server Status Discussion 2012-01

Anyway what do you think the crasher is like in real life? do you think the crashes will every stop and when?

my theory

 Spoiler

the crashes are probably going for a long time. Nexon probably will never find out how,

This is probably how the crashes will stop.
A) the duper will probably eventually find that he/she has had enough and wants to stop him/herself duping. However he/she cannot resist the thrill of it. He/She releases the method on a h@cking website and it is patched by nexon
B) the duper shares it with a few friends. the friends annoy him/her with excessive duping and/or take too much of the profit or they deflate the goods too much. the friends will probably not be as patient as the creator of the server crash, and will dump the duped goods on the market. Creator of the crash is annoyed and releases hack to preserve the value of his/her own duped goods.

My profile of the server crasher so far.
probably very patient and neat. short and skinny person, probably a male. played maplestory at some point. probably in a course at university doing computer science. Likely at a second tier university - not the top ranked ones but not a crap one.
Person is calm and neat and enjoys good regular sleeping breaks. Therefore probably looks neatly dressed, albeit a bit nerdily in appearance; probably wears glasses. In good health due to regular sleep. Face also probably free of acne due to regular sleep, probably has a small head if a male.

ok you can all go and citizen's arrest this person

anyway

anyway, they should just hand out the ring upgrade potions via Donald that way everybody raging (including me) because they cannot upgrade their ring to quiet down.

I agree with this totally. The extension of the event is rather pointless given they haven't even stopped the crashings and don't even know how much they need to extend the event by. they should just give us the upgrade for loggin on - which is already quite difficult in itself, wihout making us stay connected for an hour.

I'ma just say this,

LOL so true.

So much Silly in this thread right now.

I don't know what you're talking about. this is a serious discussion.
