Yeah, when they run out of jobs they could perfectly decide to make a "Cygnus Strikeback!" patch or some crap like that, in which Cygnus catch up with the other jobs in terms of power. More levels, new skills, new storyline, etc.
Saying something will never change in Maple Story is ridiculous, it has to be one of the most ever-changing online games.
And just for note, I don't see how Cygnus Knights are "easy" or "beginner" mode now, having jobs like Mercedes and Demon Slayer which level way faster, are more powerful, and consume less pots.
