%boss dmg not working?

I'd say it's just taking the lower of the two numbers much like ignore defence. I have 50% boss on my bow and it isn't working how it's supposed too.

don't think so though, because my weapon was 30boss 6% total, and after cubing to 40/30, the damage on bosses did increase.
