Finally got to watch the episode, although I'll probably rewatch it tomorrow instead of right now.
Episode 13 spoilers
-Well I was definitely surprised when it turned out both newborns weren't Earth Ponies at all. Liked Mr. Carrot Cake's very loose explanation of Pony genetics; I could almost see the lampshade hanging.
-lol at Pinkie Pie breaking physics as usual as she kept off-screen teleporting into the room.
-So much Pinkie in one episode. I imagine many image macros to be made from this episode.
-Man, that one month passed and Pound/Pumpkin seem more like they're 1-2 years old instead.
-And suddenly Pinkie has a party watch!
-Oh Rarity and Dashie. I wonder who she gave her 2nd ticket to, and Rarity just plain saying "lolnope" at babysitting was great.
-I felt bad for Pinkie as she pretty much took a crash course in caring for babies. Amusingly, the name "Auntie Pinkie Pie" from Griffon The Brush is being very relevant now.
-Pinkie Pie is Surprise!
-Pinkie is not to be a stand-up comedian, ever. I did find her song while being a pig to be very cute though; she was just so bouncy.
-Felt bad for Twilight to appear only to get shoved out. Pinkie willing accepted her help, but felt challenged when she thought Twilight implied she can't be a good babysitter.
-It was amusing how they managed to give a creepy vibe to the episode as Pound Cake pretty much went all Spider-Man/Aliens on Pinkie.
-lolWHAT at Pound Cake flying better than Scootaloo, and Pumpkin Cake having very potent magic. I can only imagine how they'll be like once they're older. Or could be Rule of Funny.
-Awww at Pinkie crying out of frustration that the babies wouldn't behave, leading to them finally behaving. Was cute they poured flour over themselves to calm her down; they sure are fast learners!
-Liked how even when writing to Princess Celestia, Pinkie wrote her letter as if she was talking to her.
The episode was really nice as character development for Pinkie Pie. They played it rather straight in that she ended up handling it all on her own. I was afraid it'd pull a Family Guy in which Pinkie just ends up royally screwing up, but it was very nice seeing her able to be a competent caretaker and pulling all together in the end. Maybe Pinkie Pie will be to young ponies what Fluttershy is to animals?

I really loved the birthday cake with zero candles =D
And the genetics talk.
Unicorn is master race, they can fly, do magic, control the weather, EVERYTHING!
Also, I immediately thought of Surprise when I saw Pinkie dipped in flour:
Spoiler
Unicorns are the 3.5 Wizards of Equestria. Sure they may be more frail than say a [striker]regular human[/strike] Earth Pony, but by god they can pack so much hax if they research their magic.
And yup. I also thought of Surprise when Pinkie poured flour all over herself.
