That is the KMS censor. Rather than *** like gms uses, it uses whatever those characters means. probably something along the lines of "Censored" or "Bleep" (Total guess)

It actually means "opps". Anyways, yeah that happened when I first started playing KMS. I got "you brown? You dirty -nword-?" "You very dirty!" when I was leveling a year ago.
Anyways to avoid this I suggest you use this guide made by me and nature green. You should atleast learn 1 or 2 phases.
