Pretty cool episode, nice learning more of how Ponyville came to be.
Interesting to know that ponies' manes don't get white when they grow older.

I liked it, even though it didn't have the random humor that seems to be most appreciated by fans.
Also I was almost sure Apple Bloom was going to get her cutie mark at the end when she was talking with Applejack, she really could have.

 Spoiler

I sense they will get their cutie marks all at once. It'd be the only fitting way, I believe.

On a side-note, it highly amuses me just how much more adorable Apple Bloom is compared to Sweetie Belle. I'd have thought Sweetie Belle would have all/most of the hnng inducing moments if you base off their names. Nope, Apple Bloom is group leader AND gives you diabetes.
