Recently decided to come back to the game after a two year hiatus [minus the occasional login] and was shocked at how different this game has become. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the potential tiers and whatnot, but what I'm most curious about is my build. I noticed there is now some 2nd job upgrade that gives +STR/DEX and that I have it at zero. Is this going to be a bummer and require resets to allow for it to be maxed out?

I'm not sure what to do about gear and I rushed into things and wasted about 1.5bil on 27 attack work gloves not even taking into consideration potential and so on I have some 15% STR earings, but otherwise I am completely gearless with only about 4bil left to work with. What should my priorities be gearwise, and should I look into buying things that are scrolled or potentialed?

Level a cannoneer to 30 to unlock professions
Go to ardentmill, and get accessory crafting and mining
make a bunch of level 40 belts, this will be easy because you can get the ores required to make the plates required to make the belts from an npc for 2k each
if you get lucky, you can get a 4% str+ belt

also, mass fuse level 31 shoes that you can buy in henesys until you get 4% str or better

all in all, if you're lucky, you can get an extra 8% str for less than 20m

at least thats how i did it, haha.
reason i'm recommending a cannoneer for this is their absolutely obscene amount of inventory space.
