People act like this is the end of maple.

It is for me.
As I've stated in a previous forum:

No, I'm not advising anyone else to leave this game but I'm going to give my reason for considering it.

After playing and going through the various glitches/exploits in Maplestory over the years, I could care
less about someone being stronger than me, having a greater advantage, or being able to make more money.

I've recently seen players easily get past 15x through the familiar hack when it has taken me more than
four years to do so and yet I still looked forward to participating in future Maplestory updates such as Demon Slayers or Union.

However, all of that anticipation was gone when hackers began to smega their newly hacked equips yesterday.

Maplestory has gotten to the point where hackers can proudly display their actions without fear of consequence
and this was done after Nexon returned from their holiday break...

Does anyone remember Min Kim's promise for GMS stated in November of 2011?:

Min Kim:

We hope you can put your faith in us to bring you the play you deserve.

I feel that what happened yesterday is the final challenge to Nexon in keeping their word of why we should
continue playing or spend money on an already broken product.

Since they can no longer provide us the 'play' we deserve, I fail to see why I should continue to put my 'faith' in Maplestory.

That's the reason why I'm going to quit if this goes unanswered.

I don't see a reason in playing a game the company no longer cares about.
