But I digress, there's no point in me bickering over your opinion of my post. LoL thread, not rhetoric thread.
Except Metagolem was spawned over the fact that the particular build did work pretty well with most tanky DPS champs. The fact that the "core" items made a person by themselves catapult it to meme status, but it still retained the seriousness that is the viability of the build. If anything, you screwed up by using a meme with some factual serious matter behind it, unlike many of the other memes that are spawned purely for lolololol.
Rhetoric may be unrelated to LoL, but perspective is. A couple other people and I saw you as trying to make it as fact, and then you later play the "oh I'm joking" card. That doesn't change the fact that we saw it as serious instead of a joke.
I've manipulated the outcomes of many games where my teammates and opponents are less than bright. For example, I know that my buddies will inevitably make the mistake of getting too close to enemy champions that they really shouldn't be close to. When that happens, the enemy jumps on him. What I do is stay in range of my buddy and/or out of sight of the enemy, so that my buddy unwittingly plays the bait. Depending on what champ I'm playing, I'm either the person that saves his ass, or I save his ass and kill the assailant. Fking champion magnet gets me free gold and exp, it's great. Works particularly well when I'm Anivia, since most champs with gap closers are melees, and they usually only have one gap closer.
Predicting the habits and plays of your opponents also has a part in map awareness. You will never be gank-proof due to randomness and uncertainty (you could be camping next to the outer top tower, only to find that all 5 enemy champs have decided to tower dive you while your teammates are wailing at their inhibitor turret), but you can drastically increase your gains by farming lanes or jungle creeps if you can guess within certainty where the other champions are and what they're doing.
Let's say for example that Blitzcrank comes to gank you, and he throws out his Rocket Grab at the earliest opportunity when you're wide open and visible. He may or may not get you the first time, but now you have a reading on how he plays. The next time I return to my lane and dish out pwnage, I'll know better how to evade him the next time he ganks. Ideally you would ward the approach locations, but let's assume that for whatever reason there are no wards. If and when he comes when I have the lane pushed, I can simply juke his Rocket Grab by either going off in a different direction, stopping in place when he uses his skillshot of doom, or Flash.
In Southperry.net, the mods and rules are very relaxed, and so we can engage in all sorts of shenanigans. However, I know many other places, especially irl courts, where written communication must be made carefully, since the essences of bodily expression and tone are lost, and people are eager to jump on you for any single thing (LoL GD anyone?).
(That turned out longer than I'd originally planned lol, but I suppose motivation is at work here.)

Uh he's been in a couple spotlights already. Granted, I didn't notice at first xD He says he gets friend requests everytime he shows up in a spotlight.
