Solo'ing has the connotation of one character, moreso than one person. While technically the person had no help, his character did. Whichever definition you fancy would put you on the obvious sides of the debate.
Personally I like viewing solo fights as one character, not one person, so I don't really see it as a solo. Still funny to watch though, if only to watch the people who said PB would never be on farm mode cry a little.
