It's moreso to show people the standard that is used to determine what is an infraction and what is not. Displaying the infraction associated with the post is displaying this standard, not making a mockery of the person.
Sad to say it, many are under the belief that if they don't see it happening, it may as well not have happened. It's the same way for infractions.
