You do know that Kyrin's father Testonen was the original pirate hero, right? Even in Mercedes storyline, Athena mentions Kyrin looking for the Black Mage for revenge, as well as Yuris in Ellin forest being confirmed for Kyrin's mother, so I don't think that has changed.

Then the question remains: What is Testonen's first name? If they're going with the "Letters of MAPLE" theory, then it's QUITE obvious that Kyrin's LAST name would be the same. Meaning Testonen is the surname, which means he HAS a first name. Question is though, what name would keep within the "Letters of MAPLE" theory?

One I might suggest, though is not true until confirmed by Nexon: Leif. If you think about it, the Pirate NPCs prior to the Black Wings saga's debut all had Scandinavian names (Vikin in Lith Harbor, for example). This COULD mean that Leif would be the Pirate Hero's first name.

Another theory is that Testonen might be his nickname or middle name, in which case, same theory still applies.

Thus, by following my theorized name, and that of the "Letters of MAPLE" theory, we get this:

Mercedes
Aran
Phantom
Leif
Evan


Of course, this is not true.... yet. Let's wait and see before we go calling off theory as fact.

EDIT - I just realized that Magnus could be the General that debuts with the Pirate Hero, in much the same way that Hilla debuted with Phantom. Think about it: almost every big patch featuring a new hero has featured a Black Wings Commander (though not necessarily together or in the same arc/promo).

In the Legends patch series, it was Mercedes and Arkarium (although the latter appeared with Demon Slayer, as opposed to Mercedes - however, it WAS the last patch in the series)

In the Justice patch series, Phantom was the second patch in (Hero Patch), and the last patch will have Hilla and Aswan as an area/boss combo (Commander Patch).

I'm starting to see a pattern here. If that's true, then the final patch series will more than likely see the former heroes get revamped (Revamp Patch), followed by the Pirate Legend (Hero Patch) and then Magnus debuting as a boss with his own area (Commander Patch).

This still leaves Guwar out of the picture, but again, don't take my word as fact until we hear official sources state so.
