Powerful current transformers (the ones that give you your electricity) are sometimes also cooled with this method.
It's a decent method of cooling which doesn't require cleaning of a fan.
The downside of using this cooling method for PC's is that the CPU can become quite hot (60/70 degrees Celsius) because there is no real oil-flow inside, that transports the heat away from the CPU itself.
