Would maxing Snipe early be a mistake?

I seriously haven't trained since 140, I got 4 levels off bossing alone. Which is why I don't need Pierce. I can safely pull 9 points out of that and 1 from Blind which equals 10. Expensive, maybe...but it would save me a lot of "bossing time." After all those points are put into Snipe, I'll only have to level twice more to max it.

But as Rei mentioned, would having Max MB be a better priority over Max Snipe and the 200k damage cap?

The cap is either coming next patch with pirates, or not for awhile. [speculation]

Either way, would the extra damage really help? Not many people will listen to you mathematically prove that you do the same damage, they'll see a MM and a BM with equal SE, and pick the BM.

The extra damage, of course, helps none at training since snipe is 1 hit either way. A snipe before pierce build is still viable though, seeing how you can argue that snipe in hits higher levels are just as good as pierce.
