The thing about vayne is that if she isnt properly played you are gonna get stomped during your laning phase... HARD. Shes pretty vulnerable to pushing since she doesnt have any kind of AoE, shes exclusively a 1vs1 champ so clearing mob camps its a slow process. So if you are Vs against someone like Tris/Corki/Ashe/Caitlyn that can push pretty decently + the poking... well... Your only choices are either having and amazing support (Its either one that will save your ass everytime and wont let you die, or a agressive one that set up the kills for you) or Having your jungler camp your lane OR you are laning against other champs that have trouble during laning (Urgot or Ez maybe) or against complete morons.
Also a protip for bot and top: If you think codemn someone into a wall thats near a bush its a great idea, i will say its not unless you have some sort of vision (Ward/Minion/Teammate) of the bush since you could lose a sec or 2 walking to the inside of the bush or you are just using it to escape.
