I tried a little bit of a few different types that my dad and his girlfriend drink every night and I just didn't like 'em. The last time I even had a sip of beer was nearly 10 years ago, when my dad told me to try a sip of his. I don't exactly remember what it was like. I do also remember another alcoholic beverage my dad and my uncle were drinking one time that I had a sip of... God, that stuff was strong and it made me feel like I was drinking what nail polish remover smells like.
I dont really like wine either. I prefer carbonated wine drinks like Asti. If you can, go out and sample different stuff. I love Woodchuck Hard Cider. As strong as a normal beer but a lot tastier.
There is practically an unlimited amount of alcoholic drinks on the planet. Anything from wine to beer to hard liquor to a million combinations of the thousands of brands and flavors.
Obviously, drinking with others is far more fun than drinking alone. If you have no one to drink with then i can understand not wanting to bother.
