It's not so much that as they saw "with their own eyes" that he was deliberately being an idiot. Whereas if they're just looking at reports, they would need multiple games of information to secure it's validity.
On top of that, players that represent a game and it's community are generally held to a higher standard, because they represent the game and it's community.

And one more thing[/URL], somebody with that many games behind their back, knows better than to act like that.
