Luck vs Conservative
Considering my luck with sparks, I would never go for a spark route. If you say tripled what the spark is worth, you could very well waste 3+ sparks instead by getting crappy hiddens. Coupled with depreciating the equipment (which will probably become negligible eventually though).
But again, if you don't plan on making that investment into stamps, I guess the spark route would be the best option for profit.
