I'd thought I'd share a really awkward scenario I'm facing in life right now! Well rather my family all together. See my sister been dating this kid name chris for nearly 3 years now (freshman to jr in HS). He's 2 years older than her, so I'm frankly surprised it lasted so long.
But it's clear that it started burning out a year ago, they don't talk as much and they are always within the same vicinity but never in the same room. The vicinity is my house, which I'd argue chris actually lives in. I pay rent and I would argue that I use less resources than him, it's that bad. The only thing he doesn't do is sleep here, though, he might as well. The problem is that he stays at my house until 4 am. It's just awkward walking downstairs to a guy playing whatever computer game. He does get angry sometimes and starts shouting waking up my parents, and me on occasion.
Oh but what's the problem, lay out the rules, kick em out? AM I RIGHT? Yes SP I wish it were that easy, but I'm sure you're asking "what about HIS house!". Well here my friends lies the problem, the reason my military father hasn't essentially beat him to a bloody pulp verbally yet, is because his mom died 2 years ago. Ouch I know, and he's clung to us like a barnacle. His dad works late and travels a lot so their communication is limited to phone conversations, so he essentially feels lonely going home, he can't handle it. I can tell it's weighing on my sister because they just don't get alone time, and my parents are getting irritated with some of his inconsideration, but none of us have the courage to tell him to fu`ck off.
It doesn't really effect me, although my dads been contemplating doing a timer on the internet to get him out, but he knows it kind of effects me so he's still juggling it. Oh and just so we understand each other we're talking 10pm lmao. I'm not really looking for an answer, there isn't one besides stabbing him, but I got no one else to really whine too because most of my friends think he's a bum and can't be sympathetic with his loss lol.
