When you do the quest on a Mercedes for the Amdusias Hat (12+ dex hat) you're given Solomon's Bow to kill it (you'll miss if you don't use it), and not a dual bowgun. This requires you to use normal attacks and arrows to complete the quest. Not gamebreaking, but slightly annoying, especially if you don't have arrows on you.
It doesn't use up arrows. It's magical
Ahahahaha, so many Mercedes are going, "What the flying crap! Why can't I hit it?!?" at Amdusias. I nonchalantly walk in and kill it and one thinks I'm hacking.
Anyway, which NPC do you talk to after delivering the Zombie Mushmom Spore to Bruce? No new, Mercedes-only quest popped up in my quest window.
