(fun fact, I used that acronym this morning to a JP friend and he raged at me because the "ha" is apparently pronounced as "wa", so it's actually bad grammar to call it "haganai"...).

I was so confused when people were calling it haganai, like I somehow travelled back in time.

「僕は友達が少ない」 ― the particle は/ha is pronounced wa. Since the 11s shortened it to はがない, in a really weird literal sense, it is haganai and I think the author of the novels romanizes it as haganai. Some groups still use ha instead of wa when it's は in their karaoke ― iirc Eclipse and Static-Subs, or at least their older work.

Basically, it's down to preference, so saying "haganai" isn't technically wrong especially if you a) don't know Japanese or b) didn't know the show used the は from the title. But if you're going to call it "haganai" then you should also call it Boku ha Tomodati ga Sukunai. :]

tbh I'd say waganai irl simply because haganai = no teeth. trollololol

And makes me wonder if I should continue watching the show since I dropped the first ep. zzzz

It does look very attractive to me, but I've grown so used to using a tablet that I draw on while looking up at a screen that the idea of drawing digitally in a old school way intimidates me at the same time!

If you're going to go to life drawing sessions, they only have drawing horses and/or easels. ┐（￣ー￣）┌

I've been using a tablet to doodle for nearly 10 years and switching back to traditional art for the meantime hasn't been a problem. Or at least the getting used to holding the board with a pad of paper at an angle as I scribble. My biggest problem is how much pressure I put on my tool when I draw. xd
