Yea, that's what I got from it.

Idk what the problem is people. The 9 tails doesn't hate people just because he hates them, he feels like a used pet. He's a prideful self aware entity of chakra essentially. Naruto showed to him that he recognizes him as that rather than a source of power. Hence the whole mother giving him the hint that thing needs some love, really it just wants respect.

I don't see a problem o.O Just some misconceptions surrounding the Kyuubi.
