wrong. Herbing or w/e grants 5 empathy. Oh but i make the 1000mp potions 400 a stack. kinda(not really) usefull for my paladin. and once u make them. you can buy powders and make the pills that stack to 800. I would use them but they kinda useless at potion cooldown places. so i use the 2500ones (2058max mp atm)

Leveling up, not the act of crafting something.
It does not contribute to the daily cap, thus you can essentially go from Lvl 1 in a trait to Lvl 100 in a trait in a day.
