K. Changed my stance on this because I just got to 4th job on kmst. Energy blast is what i'm using 9 out of 10 times, with the 1 being when I'm not charged yet or all of the monsters have a pineappleton of hp (monster park). It's so useful because 2hkoing with blast > 3hkoing with DS. And the range is huge.
