I wonder what kind of scaling this game has. I'm at Level 47 now, and I'm starting to run into enemy archers that can take off half of my health with a single arrow. It's gotten so bad that heading into bandit forts intending to melee the heck out of everything isn't that much of a good option anymore, at least if I'm not sneaking.
Yet when I kill them, I see nothing in their inventory (aside from advanced arrows such as Elven/Glass) that should allow them to dish out that kind of damage against me. Is it like the game is considering some of the enemy archers to be at Master level or something? I know it's not me being unlucky enough to be hit by crit arrows (if enemies can land crits on you in the first place), unless I really am that unlucky.
For reference, I have 300 health (50 of that fortified), and 160 defense. I also have something like 110% bow damage on the rest of my equips.
