Also, can I guess it's that they both drive really nice cars? The hats seem really similar somehow to me, but I can't quite place why since the phantom hat looks like three birds in a science/fashion experiment gone awry.
If you watch the Tv serie White Collar, he is a thief, he is pimp, was millonaire until he got caught and now he works for the CIA (he actually put all his effort on it after a friend got shot Iirc, but at the beginning he was not very interested at first).
