A guide to Crimson Guardian killing

Yeah, what Opeth said. I don't think I've used DB more than once there. O_o

I never use those stairs as sniping spots, either. I just use the diagonal ledges on the bottom to clear enough mid level spawn for me to get onto that plat. Then I walk back and forth among the fray killing them until the top plat fills up. Then I go to the safe spot by the ropes and clear out the top. Rinse and repeat. Obviously you have to be considerably higher level to do that, but yeah. Crimson Guardians are really easy to handle.

same thing i do lol. clear top, clear bottom, all with hurricane. AR presents problems, cause if you're below the guards at any point, then they use their 4.8k attack. if you're beside them they do the patheticly weak one.

edit - i DO use DB quite liberally on this map, oddly enough. i'm not as strong as felix, so if there's more than 3 in a spot i NEED to shove them back. or i make use of the fact that DB will hit the last set of monsters in a mob, similar to IA. useful for luring for bomb arrow. DB's worthless on top though.
