I don't really know how to word this well, but... Say I send you in 4 things for a category, and the first of those 4 is my absolute highest recommendation for that category. Shouldn't that be counted for more votes/points/something than the other 3? I could very easily see us running into problems where something wins just because everyone stuck it in as their 4th choice, despite it not actually anyone's first choice for that category.
This is just the nominations phase, anyway. Since obviously not everyone will be sending in the same 4 games for every category, the 4 most "popular" will then be put to a vote. I've already got several submissions so I think a voting phase after the nominations phase will be necessary.
The reason I've decided against nominating in the topic is because I don't want people to see their favourite games may not have been repeatedly nominated and then decide to not to participate as a result.
