MS died when Cubes and potential stats came out. There was nothing wrong with MS pre BB/Poten... Apart from lolmages, loladins, and lol buccs. All the game need was decent proper balancing not an entire overhual. I am totally a" go with the flow" type, but ever since BB MS just get crapier and crapier at even aster rates than it was before BB.
