Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS]
Locked Wrote:If I do end up having problems with the game, it's as simple as recalibrating it (which I rarely do). The problem is that during boss fights and the like, people are probably wound from excitement/thrill (I'm to blame for this too) and it just offsets the position of your hand in correlation to where you last calibrated it causing some issues. The controls are sensitive and that's probably why people are irritated.
That shouldn't be happening, though. Therefore it's a problem with the controls.

I think people who think there aren't problems with controls are either a) mesmerized by motion controls in the first place (thus they don't care that they suck sometimes), b) sitting on Nintendo's plantain or c) think they're being more realistic by accepting the flaws as something that happens and doesn't really matter, but in reality the problems do exist and while they're not game-breaking, they're still annoying and noticeable enough that they detract from the experience.

I'm certainly guilty of swinging too damn hard, especially when I'm getting into it, but that SHOULDN'T throw the game out of whack.

Also, regarding the final boss strategy...
