Stonewall's voice commentary about the upcoming jungling changes.
The original thread
He doesn't like it at all. Doesn't sound good. Also, a tester said to him that he didn't like the jungle revamp and wanted the old jungle back.
For me, I'll wait until the next patch to see how good (or bad) the new jungle is. I jungle quite often, and I can tell easily if I don't like the features of the new jungle.
About Jungle Cho: I had commented about him possibly being a bit better after the jungle revamp (and Stonewall had said the same thing too). Why is he possibly better after the changes?
To start off with, Jungle Cho has massive sustain during early jungling. Every time he kills an enemy unit, he regenerates quite a bit of health. In terms of early game jungling, he heals up to 5-7% of his health every time he kills a jungle creep during this game period (though for obvious reasons, this massive sustain decreases dramatically as he levels up, but by the time Cho has a good levels under his belt, his passive now changes to giving him continuous sustain, as if he had a laning presence. And by this time, he clears jungle camps relatively fast, which translates to good sustain)
Now lets talk about the sigil monsters. We don't know how much heal they give when they get slaughtered, but if they give an nice amount, Cho's going to be a pretty damn good jungler after next patch. Lots of sustain, simply put.

Quote:I actually don't like it very much. They upped the dynamics of it sure but they oversimplified it and made ganking a lot less necessary for a jungler. Sure it's still nice but following a respawn pattern works too well for the first 7 levels to give that up.
Some of the stars of the new jungle -
Irelia
Master Yi
Malphite
Cho Gath
Jarvan
Nocturne
Lee Sin
