In my opinion, asking "which class deserves to be in the top 5?" is a different question than "ideally, who would you like to see in the top 5?" I don't think the purpose of this thread is to argue about which class is superior, or about what kind of balance this game has or lacks.
On a side note, the addition of 2x cards pretty much threw out the window whatever meaning the ranks had for me to begin with. I can generally recognize and respect those who have grinded to a high level without 2x or fourth job skills, anyway. And while I'm pointing out the obvious, I might as well also say that a person's rank means less to me than what he or she actually does for others in game. So, I guess I'll change my mind, and say that the five nicest or five most respected players, one from each job, be my ideal top 5.
