In what I would assume would be the final dungeon now, though carpo-tunnel is getting the better of me, but I have to say
Ditto.

I understand that these lands are to become a sacred paradise known as Hyrule, but I feel that they kinda stepped off sideways a bit in taking a Shangri-la approach to it. Prior to this, it always seemed to have a medieval flair, rather than one of the orient. Doesn't bother me too much, but it was noticeable.
My overall impression so far is that the way it is designed, it feels short. When you look back at the tasks you set out to do, it doesn't feel like you are accomplishing a whole lot, despite it taking quite some time to finish. However, the pace of the game and the level of engagement keeps it from being dull. While this ultimately means I'm having fun not to notice the passage of time, I'd have preferred a method that left me feeling like, "Wow that was a vast expanse of exploration, I really accomplished a lot"; rather than, "Gotta keep going, oh wow, that's interesting, but despite all this, this place only had 6 rooms." I suppose it takes a step back to the 2D games in this regard making things "simple" but engaging. At least, that's the way it felt to me.
Also, again, I've yet to finish the game, but something inside me is telling me

Groose is somehow related to Gannondorf. Red hair + not given the ideal hand of fate + feelings of powerlessness + desire for true strength = Power corrupts. Also, how does the whole, god hierarchy work here? The 3 old god(esses) brought the world into being from the sea of chaos. It was they who left the Triforce to the world. Goddess Hylia is a deity being who saved the humans from destruction eons ago. If the Ooccoo(however you spell them) created the Hylians, then which gods created the Ooccoo and... basically what order did what go in? For an origin story, another thing is not clear to me; ancient ruins such as those at the temple of time. If the legend of the hero had not yet occurred once, and was merely a tale from the goddess's people, from where and for what society did these great structures stand? And for what purpose? And how is it that the agent of the Goddess and their decedents have survived for millenia and chose not to develop a human society on the surface(no indication of humans living there in gameplay)? You'd think they would at least have a village or something. And yeah, I suppose I could see it if Impa was immortal since there are character design hints to suggest that, but it still doesn't explain where she came from and why she is alone. And that doesn't even touch the issue of the monster race here, our so called Demon Lord here possesses magics and other attributes that not another single character seems to employ. These kinds of things normally don't bother me, but when you are talking about origin stories, you have to be more specific. For example, I believe that Dodoh will go on to find a dimensional slip and wind up as the ancestral founder of Clock Town in Termina. When talking about ancestral details; nothing can be overlooked as anything done here can have profound effects on the future. Though, hell if Gannondorf does show up here, that throws all my concepts out the window and just reaffirms that cannon LoZ is episodic; his source of power may exist in this time, but the man to become him does not. Not going to check any responses to this post until after I beat the game, and it was likely mentioned before all this, so if the game doesn't explain it, I'll look around for the info. I anticipate being wrong in several places.
