they probably work like i said long ago in that "suggest stuff for pirates patch" thread, they go into transform while performing the attacks, like this:

I was beginning to think that too, but then I read this:

-Pirate's Revenge: When activated, you will appear in transformation mode

So Transform is purely visual now, and only lasts 45 seconds.
