While Nexon has claimed and done nothing internally contradictory, they did however deliberately leave out information critical to the decision making process of the customers, which resulted in their FORESEEABLE mistake (and Nexon's gain, as a result).
Now, I don't know how you see the world, but if you KNOW somebody is going to suffer for your gain and you deliberately let it happen -excuse me, MAKE it happen-, I'd call that a scam.
Except Nexon isn't gaining our confidence. People are making THEMSELVES gain confidence. People are hoping / assuming Nexon is going to output hundreds of cubes during the BF Sales. Nexon is merely saying "Get them while they last". Not once did they mention the numbers or figures they are outputting, people are fooling themselves into believing otherwise.
