Calling it a scam due to people stupidity is pretty hilarious.
A confidence trick is an attempt to defraud a person or group by gaining their confidence.

While Nexon has claimed and done nothing internally contradictory, they did however deliberately leave out information critical to the decision making process of the customers, which resulted in their FORESEEABLE mistake (and Nexon's gain, as a result).
Now, I don't know how you see the world, but if you KNOW somebody is going to suffer for your gain and you deliberately let it happen -excuse me, MAKE it happen-, I'd call that a scam.
