Look, technically I don't think it is/was a "scam" HOWEVER it IS/WAS unacceptable business practice. And although the did not lie, they deliberately mislead us through what was implied (weather or not that was the customers fault is up to you) but at least here in NZ we have laws regarding how you advertise to minors and I would assume that the US does aswell and Nexon has explicitly stated that their target market includes the 13-18 yr old range (I am aware that it is not just that range) and that form of advertising would be unacceptable here.
