I know what you mean. It sure feels better to complete, say, water temple (I'm doing it right now) than the mojo tree. On the other hand, too hard dungeons can easily become annoying, especially since I'll make the "no walkthrough at all" vow for Skyward Sword. All I want is a just middle, and what you said feels like there is one.
