its a stupid unnecessary holiday, you should be thankful and honoring them regardless.
I see what you are saying, but it is a nice gesture to dedicate a day to honoring people who serve/have served in the armed forces. They gave their lives to give us the freedoms we now take for granted, so is one day too much to give them?
