Dear Maplers,

We will be performing a scheduled server maintenance on November 10, 2011. The maintenance will last approximately six hours. During this period, all game servers will be unavailable.

Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Pacific: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2011
Eastern: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2011

-What-

• The following will be unavailable:
  All MapleStory game servers
  

-Changes and Updates-

• Due to a serious issue, the sidekick system will be blocked for the foreseeable future.
  
• Lv.70+ familiar cards will be available from monster drops and Booster Packs.
  
• The drop rate for familiar cards has been increased up to 10x for all levels of monsters.
  
• Booster Pack change: Instead of receiving two common cards and one uncommon or rare cards, the following change will be implemented:
  The first card will still be common, the second will now have a 50/50 chance of being common or uncommon, and the third will have a 60% chance to be uncommon and a 40% chance to be rare.
  

-Known Issue-
An error message will appear when attempting to to feed the pets from the packages their special Cash Shop food. We advise any future pet owners of these permanent pets to purchase pet food from your local pet merchant with mesos until we can resolve this issue in next week's maintenance.

For your troubles, any permanent pet purchases this week will receive a complimentary bundle of 11 Cash Shop pet food specific to the purchased pet during the next week's maintenance.
