Maybe they will see WoW's success and push to adopt a few of their better methods, such as "better" authentication and arguably pay2play (I say arguably because, while I think it would be a good idea, some don't).
If the company continues to make an increased profit, so do the shareholders.
Real investment isn't about making a "quick buck". It's about long-term profits.
